ARCANA

ARCANA

Arcana, a diamond shining both in light and darkness.

Arcana is a neoclassical/darkwave band from Sweden, formed in 1993. They merge classically- and medievally-inspired instrumental music with occasional vocals to arrive at a richly atmospheric and dark musical tapestry.

The original line-up consisted of Peter Bjärgö and Ida Bengtsson, but since 2002 it changed line-up and now consists of Peter Bjärgö, Ann-Mari Thim, Stefan Eriksson, Cecilia Bjärgö and Mattias Borgh.

COVENANT

It’s a name that implies extraordinary commitment, a certain grandiosity, and a bond stronger than blood.

In 1989, the name “Covenant” was selected for the group—a name derived from the unspoken, spiritual bond the trio professes to share.

Covenant’s first release, Dreams of a Cryotank, which would spawn an important early club hit for the band, “Theremin”, a track which can still be heard on dancefloors today.

Their second Album Sequencer would launch them onto the international forefront. It would result in the band embarking on their first European tour.

Hits like “Der Leiermann”, Call The Ships To Port” and “Bullet” became their trademarks. With a spate of headlining performances at major festivals in Europe Covenant also redefined their already impressive reputation for stellar live shows.

Shortly after the release of their sixth studio Album Skyshaper, Nachmanson amicably parted ways with the band and was replaced by Haujobb’s Daniel Myer. At first brought in exclusively for live shows, Myer was, in short order, asked to join the band permanently.

DIVE

The music - very primitive, harsh and experimental - hits like 10000 volts.

Started in 1990, Dive is the solo project of Belgian EBM pioneer and former Klinik and Absolute Body Control frontman Dirk Ivens.

Continuing the minimal, menacing electronics of early Klinik releases, but with a heavier, more saturated edge, Dive’s distinct sound has been a highly influential presence in the EBM and electro-industrial scene.

This was the start of many products with an evolving sound. With a minimum on equipment, Dirk creates a maximum of power.

His sound is copied by a lot of newcomers in the last couple of years and he proved on many stages that less means more.

THE EDEN HOUSE

THE EDEN HOUSE

... In The Eden House, there is no one singer.
Just one intention; to create a coalition of beauty in music,
vocals, talent and soul.

In this new collaborative project the core members are Stephen Carey, formerly of Ireland’s This Burning Effigy; and Tony Pettitt, originally of the influential Fields of The Nephilim. With each song various musicians have been involved bringing in their own unique talents and trademark sounds to produce the debut album that is ‘Smoke & Mirrors’.

The vocalists who have graced The Eden House are Julianne Regan (All About Eve), Evi Vine, Amandine Ferrari and Monica Richards (Faith & The Muse). Also contributing are violinist Bob Loveday (of Penguin Café Orchestra, Van Morrison, and currently Bob Geldof’s band); former Fields of The Nephilim Peter Yates, Nod Wright and Paul Wright; along with drummers Simon Rippin (Nefilim, NFD) and Bob Irwin (Van Morrison, Johnny Cash).

Erato

Erato

Through the years the band has build up quite a reputation in the dark alternative music scene and has done support acts for Crystal Entity,The Breath of Life, Two Witches, The Cruxshadows, Untoten, Skeletal Family.

Their music still sounds as promising as in the early years. Together with its members the music has evolved into honest contemporary dark rock songs without betraying their musical roots. It is no secret that the band is influenced by the death-rock, post punk, new-wave, goth-rock and electro bands of the eighties and nineties. Combining these musical influences with modern arrangements and their own typical style the band members create the unique sound of Erato.

FADERHEAD

FADERHEAD

Who ever said 'djs are not rock stars' probably didn't think that electronic producers could be either. Faderhead is here to prove them all wrong...

From stompy techno to synthpop to dirty groove-laden electro: Faderhead mashes it all up like no one else.

It's 2009 and Faderhead's electronic music assault is in full swing. Three highly acclaimed albums in 3 years - and 2 massive worldwide clubhits with "Dirtygrrrls/Dirtybois" and "TZDV".

But wait, there's more to the man with the mohawk: as a complete surprise to almost anyone, he just released the highly acclaimed "Horizon Born"-EP ... a collection of 5 haunting ballads that show an emotional side and an ability to create beautiful music that most people never expected from a man who's famous for his dancefloor-dominating clubtracks!

Faderhead's high energy live shows are currently supported by Marco Visconti (XP8l) on keyboards and backing vocals.

FAITH AND THE MUSE

While sequestering us inside the mythical and mystical environment of their Otherworldly music, they bring to light the real elements that are true within all of us: a quiet and perfect human connection that has guided our hearts throughout history, yet in this world, is commonly lost.

Faith and the Muse, formed in 1993, are vocalist and songwriter Monica Richards and William Faith.

The duo draws from a wide array of styles: gothic rock, ethereal, Celtic, post-punk, and even jazz. Neo-pagan and Celtic mythology influences much of their lyrical content.

While their sound varies greatly from song to song, their music is always highly emotional and spiritual, with a cathartic and epic character.

Their performances change from tour to tour, featuring at times theatrical and orchestral instrumentation, or quiet intimate acoustic events, and other times, straight-up hard rocking shows.

FGFC 820

FGFC 820

Arkana and Dräcos combine to create a sound that is at once melodic and relentlessly rhythmic, "bringing the 'thump' back to EBM".

Formed in 2004, FGFC820 is the hard EBM project from well-known and respected New York City DJs Rexx Arkana and Dräcos. Drawing on joint and separate influences ranging from old school industrial to modern gabber, Arkana and Dräcos combine to create a sound that is at once melodic and relentlessly rhythmic.

The rhythms pound their way into your psyche with militaristic grandeur, stomping like a Teutonic march

Their debut EP, “The Hanging Garden,” was released in 2005. In May 2006 they released their full length debut, “Urban Audio Warfare,” and in 2008 their second album, “Law & Ordnance”.

FUNKER VOGT

WE ARE WHO WE ARE

Funker Vogt is a German EBM/Electro-band, formed by Gerrit Thomas and Jens Kästel in 1995.

Since 1996 “Funker Vogt” has published 7 albums, plus various EPs, singles and remix CDs.

Next to its creativity, it is the vibrant energy of its live concerts which best characterises the band. This quality has undergone continuous improvement as the size of the band has grown from two to four.

“Funker Vogt” is also known as a complete work, regrouping image, music, lyrics, and stage presence into a unique theme: one of the major characteristics of Funker Vogt’s concerts is the martial appearance of the band.
